For many resort owners and tourism operations, as long as their business is doing well at present, that is enough for them. Unfortunately, such attitudes can be quite unprofitable in the long run. Soon the tourist destination which do not fulfill the criteria of the sustainable tourism will be away from the business. With so many people flocking to a tourist destination year in and year out, the place is bound to suffer a lot of environmental damages and if the main attraction of that place is its pristine environment, the place could be in a lot of trouble in the very near future. When a place loses its allure, it can go out of business.
