First on your surfing holiday itinerary should be the amazing Cocoa Beach in Florida. This beach is home to some classic breaks but you have to make sure your trip is timed right. If your heading here in summer then chances are you’ll catch a great tan but you shouldn’t hold out much hope of catching any great waves. Visit in the colder months however and you’re in for a treat. You can get swells of around 10ft in winter and the sets are a whole lot more reliable this time of year. The beach and waves are pretty safe making it great for beginners and the party atmosphere here is perfect for chilling out and enjoying yourself. Best surf is between November and March
