5. * Credit cards & cash: It’s always a good idea to use international credit cards or travelers checks instead of cash. If you must bring cash, please be careful & keep it locked in a safe as much as feasible. For your cards, if you can bring two, even better – if you lose one or the ATM eats it – you have a spare!
6. * Medication: This one is vitally important. Medications keep us healthy and for some people – can literally mean the difference between life or death. Think about heart patients and asthmatics, to name a few. So bring everyone’s medications. Don’t forget the prescriptions or doctor’s orders so you can prove you actually need them & they are legal and not contraband.
