Why Consider a Disney Value Resort
Saving some cash when you go to Walt Disney World probably seems to be a contradiction in terms, but with some smart planning and preparation, visitors can have an enjoyable trip to Florida without running up a huge bill.
The Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely huge, covering nearly 48 total miles near Kissimmee, Florida. There are four major amusement areas, Epcot, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, and the Magic Kingdom. With so much to see, tourists usually spend at least 7 days or more just to see everything. Disney World has built more than a dozen resorts just to take care of everyone visiting the area.
Obviously, Disney executives recognize that people are searching for different options when visiting the area. Because of this, they have resorts that fit everyone’s budget. Resorts are classified into Value, Moderate, and Deluxe levels. Value is sort of the Disney way of saying cheap, but you will not be let down, as the Value resorts are clean and comfortable. Moderate hotels are one step up, promising slightly larger rooms and full service restaurants on site.
Deluxe hotels at Disney World are top-of-the-line accommodations built to please and placate any tourist. Some of the hotels such as the Contemporary Resort and Yacht Club are along the monorail, so you can simply ride to Epcot without using a rental car or riding a bus. Guest accommodations are much larger, and the Disney World experience is of course magical.
How does one decide what to hotel to choose? Well would you rather use your hard earned cash on souvenirs or pamper yourself with the best, after all you are on holiday? Value rooms like the Disney Pop Century Hotel can cost anywhere from $75 to $110 a night, while top end Hotel start from $200 and go higher from there. As you can see, if you extrapolate that by 7 to 9 days, you would end up spending hundreds more just for a nicer room.
The choice belongs to the visitor, but no matter what you pick, tourists can be sure Disney World cast members will do their best to be sure you and your family have a great visit.
